Hi, I am doing research about what common mistakes syntax/ gramatical are made by people in India when they speak or write English. I am working on a case study where educated Indian employees are making syntax and gramatical errors when preparing projects for publication. I need to know what errors are being made, so I can design an instructional plan. This is for a class I am taking at the University of Phoenix.

The following book will help you, I think.

Learner English , pub. by Camb. Univ. Press, 1987

I'm not sure who wrote it, but it describes the common mistakes made by learners from different countries.
