I think that you have written a good letter. I have made a few changes:Manager, Customer Relations
ABC Store
XYZ Street, City
Dear Manager:
My name is*** , a **store customer who bought a washer and
dryer on October 4, 2006 at your **(location) store. They staff told me that it would be delivered on October 9, 2006, but they have kept changing the delivery
date. The first time, they changed it to October 16, then October20, then
October23. The most ridiculous thing is that no one called to let me
know it had been rescheduled, so one of my family member was always staying
home that whole day waiting for delivery. Each time, I called and
asked what was going on, and they gave me different reasons every time I
called. The first time, the reason was that the dryer was damaged; the second time,
the reason was that they did not have the item in stock and were waiting for delivery from other
state; the third time, they did not even offer an explanation, but just told me
it has been rescheduled for October 23.
I called again today (October 20) and talked with someone from your delivery team. I
asked him if there was any way he could delivery sooner than October 23. He
said there is no way before October23 because their delivery schedule is already
full-- but that I could rent a truck and pick it up myself! This sounds ridiculous to me; I can't handle a washer and dryer by myself--
that's why I paid for delivery service.
I very much regret that I
have already paid for the items. If I hadn't, I would never have had to wait for 3 weeks for delivery. There are many other dealers who deliver on the next day. I would really like absolute confirmation that my purchase will be delivered on October 23. I am upset every time I see my pile of
full laundry bags.
