I asume you are asking about this English rather than about computers, since this is an English Forum.Smile [:)]

I have a Windows XP personal computer, and I have a Windows Vista laptop. With my laptop, I want to share files via a network from my PC....Can I do that?....And how?

Best wishes, Clive

Of course you can. You have a lot of ways such as a connection via Wi-Fi. You also can buy a flash card or a LAN-cable. Heh, a couple of years ago when I wanted to exchange interesting files with my friends I dragged my HDD out and connected it to my friends' computers)))

Windows Vista and Adobe/Macromedia Flash Player PROBLEM
Body: I called Adobe today since I just purchased a new system unit using Windows Vista. I upgraded from Windows XP Pro to Windows Vista. What a JOKE!!!!!! I used to be able to listen to music and view videos on My flash player on myspace. However, a few days ago my flash player unexpectedly stopped working. So, I thought I would further troubleshoot. There are all sorts of supposed fixes out there when you search google and yahoo. None of these fixes are actually going to work. Why? Because the Flash Player and Vista are tied together - meaning the programming is COMBINED!!!! Solution??? WE have to wait until a new version of Flash Player comes out on the market. Who knows when that will be released? And, if we don't like that solution, then we have to rollback to Windows XP. So, I wrote an email AGAIN to Microsoft and here is what I stated:

Microsoft,

I'm really, extremely upset with your Windows Vista software bundle. Not only does it create and cause problems with all of the drivers and the hardware, but I just found out that it is tied in with the Adobe Shockwave Player! Surprise, surprise! Another coding issue. When are you people going to get the coding issues corrected? Because of YOUR coding issues, I have to wait until a new Shockwave player comes out just for me to be able to view and listen to videos and music. UNREAL. I wonder how long that is going to take? In addition, I just purchased a new system unit with Vista installed on it about a week ago. I paid out over $600.00 for the Vista hardware/software package alone. If that includes support, where are the fixes/patches????? I purchased a new computer, so essentially, I upgraded from XP Pro to Windows Vista to try it out. I can tell you I am extremely DISAPPOINTED in your product. I could have just kept my old system unit and upgraded. This is truly pathetic.

SOLUTION: MICROSOFT SUCKS!!!! They rolled out Vista in BETA mode. Japan has it right. They test EVERYTHING before rolling anything out. Here in America, we let the end-users test it. We should take note from other countries since they are more successful and have FEWER problems!
