Hi all.
I had a question concerning a sentence and I was hoping you could help. English is my second language, so quite possibly, I am not understanding the meaning of this phrase.
The phrase in question is, "In as far as you help me keep patience even more so, enabling me to be able to leap past the surface of arguments and allowing me to read your words into oblivion."
Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

I'm having a few problems with it myself! Not written by a native speaker anyway!
erm...my interpretations in bold.
In as far as you help me keep patience even more so,
'As you help me be patient/keep my temper'
enabling me to be able to
what gobbledegook! it means 'so that i can'
leap past the surface of arguments
see the surface of arguments into what is really happening.
and allowing me to read your words into oblivion
absolutely no idea what this means, but possibly 'ignore what you are saying/disagree with you in a condescending manner.'
So altogether
As you help me keep my temper, I can see through your arguments and refute them?. Which still makes no real sense I'm afraid...
