Concerning these four sentences

A:  Constructing a bridge is difficult.

B:  The constructing of a bridge is difficult.

C:  Construction of a bridge is difficult.

D:  The construction of a bridge is difficult.

I think these four sentences are much the same, but there must be nuances of       meaning.
 Please tell me about them.

I think "The constructing of a bridge" in B and "The construction of a bridge" in D are  a bit more conceptual than "Constructing a bridge" in A and "Construction of a bridge"  in C.

Am I correct?

I think "Constructing a bridge" in A and "The constructing of a bridge" in B are a bit   more likely (than "Construction of a bridge" in C and "The construction of a bridge" in D) to express the process of constructing such as designing, transporting building materials, noises of cranes and dump trucks, and fastening thing with bolts ---

  Am I correct?

I'm not sure about the difference, but I would tend to agree with you, even though I wouldn't have come up with that explanation myself.
