Hi

"General Conditions of the Iberdrola Group for contracting equipment and materials."

 It means:

"General Conditions of the Iberdrola Group for concluding of contracts which refer to equipment and materials (like contract of sale, lease contracts etc.)"

You must admit that contracting is shorterWink  It is used as an acronym of "concluding of contracts" or the whole "bargaining" before signing a contract.

I don't think it's very formal, but it is probably used in economic jargon
