No I didn't see x - OK, but it would be more correct to reply to 'Have you seen x' with 'No, I haven't seen x', or 'No, I haven't seen him/her'

Hi,

Don't forget the punctuation. A comma, as already pointed out, and also a period and a question mark, eg

Did you get the file?

Yes, I got it.
