I noticed recently that many of the little shops around the university near where I work are closing 'coz the major fast food and clothing chains are outbidding them in rent. Now the whole university is going to be surrounded by McDonald, Wendy, Jack-in-the-box and of course, STar Bucks! Sad [:(]

Sad thing is, I think this is happening everywhere. Pretty soon every town is going to look more or less the same.Sad [:(]

I guess it begs the question;
If variety is the spice of life, then what is the opposite?

By the way, I like your new sig.;
IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a life.
But should life read wife (to help spend the fortune)?

Nice one Julie :-) Noone wants trouble and strife these days.

Still wondering about the opposite of spice of life.

 Nup. Stopped wondering. Too scary!
