Money decides Chinese youth’s love
Love at first sight happened when marketing officer Lu Yun was introduced to his girlfriend two years ago, but he recently has discovered that money is the most important thing.

According to a recent survey conducted by China Youth Daily and the online community, more people have the same ideas as Yu’s girlfriend.
Nearly a half of 9,000 participants revealed that money and financial circumstances are the two most important thing when they are in love.
Many single people say that they have examined their partners’s finances prior to deciding about their marriage. 85.5% of the people who participated in the survey said that the younger generation is more interested in financial matters when deciding about the selection of a lover than previous generations were.

Lu feels sorrow about his situation, but he wasn’t angry with his girlfriend. “The house’s price is high, the things become expensive. Having a rich husband means there is a happy marriage”, Lu said.
The survey displays that there are 40% participants balancing the true love during the search of a relation. And there are equipvanlent number to believe in love at first sight.
“I still believe that they choose each other by love”, says John Zhao, a public servant in BeiJing. “We have much choice and experience than our parents. But we considers the money marriage that doesn’t mean we don’t have the real love”.
Zhang Yuzhang, a professor on socilogy at Huazhong University, comments: “Love is a feeling and it needs material to be realised, strong and durable.”.
