Please correct the following letter

This has reference to the telephonic discussion we had yesterday.

I would like to open a new *** account with your bank. you can debit my XY A/C no. *** with $***.*** towards opening for the above said account.
Also, note that my brother, Mr. X will hand-over you a cheque in the amount of $***.***.
You are requested to deposit the above mentioned amount in my newly opened *** account
Please hand-over the Pass book and Cheque book to Mr. X as we discussed.
