Do you know which word in english is the lengthiest one?

 (Yes : `smiles' because there is a `mile' distance in between `s')

Please correct my sentence.

longest is better than lengthiest.

Length suggests something that can be measured in terms of inches/feet/meters/kilometres/whatever.

But I am not talking about joke.

I just want to check whether my sentence is correct.

No problem,  Nona the brit already helped me.
