"If my child came up to me and told me that he/she is gay I would react negatively and get disappointed, to be honoust. I know that people who are gay are struggling in the in the everyday life, but is hard to accept it. We all want regular child, not a child who are different from others. That would most probably destroy our reputation."

Can someone here help me with correcting this sentence?

Thanks for helping me.

Having a child who is different That would most probably destroy our reputation."

Note that if you are in an area under control of the PC police the use of "normal" in this context will bring you great opprobrium.

Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate your efforts on this forum.

Can someone here correct this sentence here for me?

"“When I am trying to get along with my teacher, my teacher is stark dismissive. Maybe because I am kind of badly behaved and not doing well at school. Sometimes he’s just telling me off because I am talking a little to my class-mate, which is ok, but no ok if he does it in a cruel away. He is telling me as wall to get off the classroom and go to talk to the headmaster.”

“When I am trying to get along with my teacher, he is starkly dismissive. Maybe it is because I am kind of badly behaved and not doing well at school. Sometimes he just tells me off because I am talking a little to my class-mate, which is ok, but it's not ok if he does it in a cruel away. He tells me as well to get ouut of the classroom and go to talk to the headmaster.”

'Starkly' is not a great word to choose. How about 'very'?

Best wishes, Clive
