Hi,
1. My bag is also heavy. Is this sentence correct? Yes, although obviously it needs a suitable context.2. Don't pick your nose. What is the meaning of this (2) sentence? Don't stick your finger up your nose and pull out whatever stuff you find there. Best wishes, Clive

1. My bag is heavy.2. My books are heavy. My bag is also heavy.
Both of these sentences are OK.
I guess your teacher wants you to understand that you shouldn't say 'also' unless there is a reason to.
Best wishes, Clive
