Hi,

1. My bag is also heavy.

Is this sentence correct? Yes, although obviously it needs a suitable context.

2. Don't pick your nose.

What is the meaning of this (2) sentence? Don't stick your finger up your nose and pull out whatever stuff you find there. Smile [:)]

Hey, Clive:  the second sentence should have a "suitable context" as well. Wink [;)]

Hello,

1.My bag is also heavy.

This sentences was given to correct it.

The teacher told that the correct form is

1. The bag is heavy.

Is this correct if no context given?

Hi,

1. My bag is heavy.

2. My books are heavy. My bag is also heavy.

Both of these sentences are OK.

I guess your teacher wants you to understand that you shouldn't say 'also' unless there is a reason to.Smile [:)]

Best wishes, Clive
