My name is Samundeeswari. iam applying for PHd position in abroad, particularly in germany. I applied in Graduate school. For that I have to prepare the motivation letter. I have written my letter.

I would be happy if anybody correct this and do the needful.

My desire to study Chemistry is to become a well known scientist in the world. I decided at the age of 18 that I wanted to be a Scientist. I truly have a passion for Chemistry and I chose it because I believe I can excel in it. In order to perform better in this field my desire has been to do a PhD degree which exposes me to multicultural experiences and multi disciplinary perspectives on current research. Because of this, I am very passionate about studying a program that is internationally oriented, allowing me to broaden my horizons to an even greater extent, which not only develops my state of awareness, but also my future career goals.

I have completed my bachelor and Master degree from Madurai Kamaraj University. As a class topper and University Third rank Holder, I decided to pursue M.Phil in chemistry. I was in a situation to quit my M.Phil due to my family problem. Yes, my mother was ill at that time. As an elder child in my family, I was supposed to go to the Job to fulfill my family requirements. I have opted for medicinal chemistry job which is based on chemistry and biology. During my career, I am always curious and enthusiastic, since I knew that to pursue a scientific career; I have to learn more about in chemistry. I am promoted as a team leader due to my excellent knowledge in medicinal chemistry. During this time, I explored several latent aspects of my personality and professionalism as well. I developed my professional skills which helped fine-tune my ability to work hard and with sincerity, persistence, motivation, and resilience.

To further my career aspirations of becoming part of the scientific world, I realize I must learn and study further, by obtaining a doctoral degree. I strongly believe that the strong theoretical knowledge from my education and my present job as Research as well as the practical experience that I gained during my Master degree stint will enable me to pursue this doctorate degree. As M.Sc. Class topper and University 3rd Rank holder, I assure you that I can master any technique in short span of time.

I came to know that Germany is encouraging young aspiring scientists; I would like to continue my studies in Germany. I hope you will consider me for acceptance to your university. It would be a great experience to attend this school and continue my education here; I am looking forward to hearing from you.

I decided at the age of 18 that I wanted to be a scientist. I actually have a passion for chemistry, and I have chosen this field because I believe I can excel in it. I am sorry, but I don't know what you mean by 'proof'-- do you mean 'professor' or 'translation' or...? I have presumed 'professor' and edited your letter in that belief; if it is otherwise, you will have to amend my edits.

Dear Mister Micawber

I am sorry for be a bore. I am now applying for PhD position in abroad. I would request you to kindly help in my process.

Here is my another letter to one Graduate school. Actually I had applied to one professor. He asked me to apply in Graduate program. As per the website,

the deadline is over by mar 17. But in the same site it is mentioned as " Applications will be accepted until the position is filled".

So I am going to apply for this program as the professor asked to apply.

So I have written letter to Graduate school saying that I have sent the application along with all documents with conventional mail (that is by post).

But as the deadline is over, I am sending mail also.

One more thing , as per application form I have to submit my TOEFL score. But I am planning to write my TOEFL exam in April end.

I would request you to give suggestion to write a separate letter mentioning that I am scheduled my TOEFL in April end in polite manner.

I hope so you will do this needful.
