  1. He makes his bed neatly. Okay

  2. For the holidays, they went back to their hometown.

  3. My boats berth beside / at the jetty this day. My boats are berthed at the jetty today. (Does a jetty have berths? I thought it was just a rock wall extending into the ocean.)

  4. They stayed home /stayed at home. There are times when you could use "at home" but simply "home" is more common.

  5. He talks a speech to his parents. What are you trying to say? He made a speech? He talked to his parents? You need to rework this one.

  6. They are learning together now. Okay, but I"m not sure what it means. Were they learning apart yesterday?

  7. There was not busy on the road. The road was not busy.

  8. There was / were many holes in the road.

  9. At night of the National Day / In the night of National Day, they went watching fireworks. On National Day, they went to watch the fireworks. (Fireworks are just about always at night, so you don't need to say it.)
