Can I say,

(a) She gave Susan a pot of rose plant.

(b) She was happy because her wish had finally come true.

(c) After few weeks, her hardwork paid off. The rose plant started to bloom roses.

(d) The next day, the red roses gave off a sweet smell that attracted some bees and butterflies.
