I am an experienced graphic designer and lecturer with a sound knowledge and understanding in the field of graphic design.

I have studied for my degree at The Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where I gained knowledge across a wide range of graphic design fields and I have strong artistic and technical abilities.

I have worked for a number of advertising agencies and publishing houses, where I have been exposed to all aspects of the related media industries.

Since moving to the UK I have worked in a small publishing company - Kennedy’s Publications Ltd.

My experience as a graphic designer and lecturer demonstrates my ability to work with others, while meeting the challenges presented to me, including the necessary communication and oral presentation skills – despite English being my second language.

I have had a chance to work with, and learn from, some of the best graphic designers in Poland (Gorowski, Pluta).

I have the experience and ability to oversee a project from concept to finished product.

I have experience of print and web design and have knowledge and experience of pre–press setup.

My experience working for a leading psychology magazine in Poland, prepared me for working under pressure. I designed many illustrations and covers for CHARAKTERY (psychology magazine).

I seek to have a clear view and concept from the beginning of the project, using my computer only as a useful tool to achieve the desired results. I am always vigilant not to lose the main idea of a concept.

Every design that I develop must be specific, functional, original and applicable.

·         I have excellent knowledge of typography and typesetting and I am highly proficient with Adobe   CS2 Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Acrobat and Quark).

·         My work has been exhibited at many exhibitions and competitions around a world with excellent feedback. I designed many book covers for well-known publishing agencies in Poland (ZNAK, WYDAWNICTWO LITERACKIE)

·         Recently I returned to photography especially in my poster works and illustrations.

·         I developed my own artistic design language and I arrange my own studio settings.

·         I can work and move between Mac and PC platforms.

·         It is important to me to get inspiration from a wide range of aspects of life including art, nature, literature, cinema and theatre. These impressions make me more creative and flexible in my design work.

I believe that my previous experience has enabled me to work effectively and to meet deadlines while remaining focused on the task in hand.

I have an extensive portfolio of work, which I am happy for you to view. Please contact me if you require any further assistance.

Yours sincerely

[Details of your training and technical expertise would be in your cv, which you should offer to send them if this is not for a specific job application, If it is, then the letter should start with a reference to the job for which you are applying: "With reference to your advertisement for a [job title], in [name of periodical or source], I am most interested in this position and would like to apply for it." ]

thanks for previous answer!

Normal 0 I am an experienced graphic designer and lecturer with a sound knowledge and understanding in the field of graphic design. Despite my skills and artistic background has been dominated by graphics I like to expand my inspiration into three-dimension design and represent analogy between them.

I am an experienced graphic designer and lecturer with a sound knowledge and understanding in the field of graphic design. Despite my skills and artistic background has been being/having been dominated by graphics, I would like to expand my inspiration into three-dimensional design and represent analogy between them.   This is pretty meaningless - can you expand on what you are trying to say?

I would like to compare two-dimmensional design to three dimmensional and find connection and similarity beetwen each other.

Try:

I would like to expand my inspiration into three-dimensional design, looking for the similarities or connections between the two approaches.
