Dear native speakers, please check it and say what you think of my accent. I'll really appreciate if you help. If there are some problems with downloading the file, let me know about it.

Hi,
I'm really curious to hear the natives' opinions. I had to put on my headphones and turn up the volume, because it didn't sound English at first. Oh, you wanna laugh? Here's what I heard:

I set and wandert, I sutsuh, what an interesting case. I must be from a mythical point of view. What an acquisition I should be took less. Students would have no need to vowgzuh hospitals, if zay had me. I was a hospital in myself . All zeh needs do vood be to walk rount me ant, after zat, take zair diploma.

LOL. Stick out tongue

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.

Hello, Prez1dent.

The volume is very low-- I had both my computer volume and the MP3 volume up full, and still would have liked it to be a little louder.

After going over it several times, I still missed a few words.  Your pronunciation is OK, but you definitely have a Slavic accent.  Some words are indistinct.  In a native speaker, the same speed would maintain the clarity of pronunciation which yours does not always do; this is also in part a matter of natural stress patterns, which you have not yet attained.  However, I am sure that we could have a full and unimpeded conversation face to face.

This is what I transcribed.  The third sentence I do not understand:

I sat and wondered. I thought what an interesting case I must be from a medical point of view.  What in a position I should be...less.  Students would have no need to work in the hospitals if they had me.  I was a hospital in myself.  All they need do would be to walk around me and observe to take their diploma.

Thank you!
I'm sorry for the quality of the recording. I shouldn't have converted it like that yet I didn't want you to waste a lot of traffic. Well, I'm going to make a better recording.

The quality now, indeed, is better compared to the first one. You have, as MM mentioned, a clear Slavic accent. However, that doesn't render your speech incomprehensible and that is the most important thing when dealing with languages, that is, to be understood. Speaking *accent-free English is extremely hard.

*(By this I merely mean speaking without any sign of the fact that you're a foreigner; after all, there is no such thing as purely accent-free English. Everyone has an accent.)
