"Enter here any further information you may wish to offer in support of your application. Please tell us about any relevant qualifications you have and reasons for wishing to study this course."

I obtained my degree in Mathematics from University of Xxx in 2003 and I have a strong interest in Statistics. My mathematic experience gave me the efforts to understand numbers, numerical data and graphs and their importance, and I have the ability to use mathematical tools and my strong numerate skills in analytical problem solving.
During my studies, I took several subjects including Statistics and other relevant to Statistics fields like Statistics, Probability Theory, Operational Research, Informatics, Combinatorics and Stochastic Processes.
Statistics is almost unique among the major science areas in that the professional skills of a trained statistician can be applied in fields as diverse as medicine, the natural and social sciences, agriculture, education, technology, industry, communications, insurance, marketing and management as well as various aspects of Government.
I find statistics very interesting to study and that there is no better major to use a variety of data analysis and computing tools, and communicate quantitative information to others.
I believe that it opens a wide variety of career opportunities as well. With a degree in statistics my skills will be valued by a wide variety of employers. I am particularly interested in medical statistics and biostatistics, and my will is to wide my knowledge in this area of mathematics and finally work as a statistician in pharmacy industry.

Studying at Xxx University, will be an exciting and challenging experience and it will absolutely fit into my career objectives and aspirations.

"Enter here any further information you may wish to offer in support of your application. Please tell us about any relevant qualifications you have and reasons for wishing to study this course." [How much information?]

I obtained my degree in Mathematics from University of Xxx in 2003 and I have a strong interest in Sleep [S]tatistics. My mathematic[al] experience gave me the [ability] to understand [the importance of] numbers, numerical data and graphs[.] [Moreover,] I have the ability to use mathematical tools and my strong numerate skills in analytical problem solving.
During my studies, I took several subjects including Statistics and other relevant to Sleep [S]tatistics fields [such as] Statistics, Probability Theory, Operational Research, Informatics, Combinatorics [spelling?] and Stochastic Processes. [watch your capitalizations]

Statistics is almost unique among the major scienceSleep [S] in that the professional skills of a trained statistician can be applied in fields as diverse as medicine, the natural and social sciences, agriculture, education, technology, industry, communications, insurance, marketing and management as well as various aspects of Government. [same can said for engineers and other disciplines]

I find statistics very interesting to study and that there is no better major to use a variety of data analysis and computing tools, and communicate quantitative information to others. [don’t understand what you are trying to say…also you need to provide some evidence or something]

I believe that it opens a wide variety of career opportunities as well. [all education opens up opportunities] With a degree in statistics my skills will be valued by a wide variety of employers. I am particularly interested in medical statistics and biostatistics, and my will is to wide my knowledge in this area of mathematics and finally work as a statistician in pharma[ceutical] industry.

Studying at Xxx University will be an exciting and challenging experience and it will absolutely fit into my career objectives and aspirations.

Your letter seems a bit weak to me. I don’t know why you like numbers. You state the obvious in your letter about numbers, statistics, and graphs and such. But I don’t see any passion or interest. I don’t understand what fascinates you about this topic.

After reading this letter, if someone asked me to describe bluefish, my answer would be, “The individual is a statistics graduate and wants to go to graduate school. But beyond that, I have no idea.”

I think you need to think add more detail about yourself such as “reasons for wishing to study this course.” Maybe working in the pharmaceutical industry is sufficient, but if I were on the admissions committee (and I am not thankfully) I would like to see more clarity.

Thank you very much for your tips.
I am going to try to improve it and come back again with a better edition.
