The question title and in Bold and the passage below is my essay!

Any suggestions and comments are welcomed!

New editors decided what to broadcast on television and what to put in newspapers. What factors do you think influences these decisions? Do we become used to bad news? Would it be better if more good news are reported?

You should write at least 250 words.

Living in the Informative Age, we are constantly bombard with news by the media through articles, radios and other means of communication throughout our lives. Although some of which might be informative, but others might be depressing. For instance, when disasterous news related to death breakout. In this essay, I will examine the aspects which influence the editors in chosing to broadcast the 'good' and 'bad' news.

Because editors  nowadays can benefit from the use of advanced technology to monitor and communicate, we have a greater chance to come across major world events, especially when bad news occur. However, because we are reported with bad news from time to time, this is becoming more tedious to the general public who begin to lose interest in the news itself other than spending their free time for debating the subject with their families and friends.

For those in favour for boardcasting more good news coverage, their arguments are often said that could be something that brighten their day in the morning or to made them feel psychologically more positive about life itself. Despite lying to themselves, I find that that the views are very selfish as they are simply ignoring the truth that could take away publicity attention for aiding the problem.

In my opinion editors should just present the truth to the public regardless whether it is a bad news or not. Besides, good or bad news cannot simply defined on their own as they are perceive differently to different individual. The original function of the media is to present the truth to the general public, so I personally think that if any news are deliberately altered to adjust their validity or hide their existence than it is nothing for than a propaganda!
