Hi,

I am considering taking a course in International Commercial Arbitration at the Queen Mary college in London. Besides the application form I have to provide two letters of reference and my question is about this letters.

1) Who can write a reference letter? Should it be a professor only?
2) How long is such a letter usually?

I would appriciate any further information about those letters of reference as I am a bit insecure about taking the course at the moment and this course is very important to me.

Take care as usual:-)

Is it me or is it the universe? It could be the universe but I am not sure thus I have been still wondering and drinking tea. However, the tea is getting cold.

I would suggest you contact the College and ask them if they wish for academic references only or for one academic and one personal reference. Length depends on the amount the referee wishes to write. [1-2 pages is usual]

Hi,

meanwhile I have no idea how to thank you as your answers are always great and helpful and superb. Maybe we should drink a tee/a coktail on me during my next visit to London:-)

Kind regards,

Your Kathrin
