Academy Of Software Developers). I am writing to you regarding your job offer
at jobs.bg. I am a second year student of Informatics at the New Bulgarian
University. I am currently looking for
broader horizons because I think the university by itself will hardly be enough
to prepare me for the real world problems and obstacles. This is where you seem
to fit perfectly. My professional long term goal is to, hopefully, be able to
aid computer science in its ultimate quest. That is, to catch up to, and to
surpass the capabilities of the human mind. I believe strong problem solving
skills and a solid understanding of programming concepts and principles are the
bare minimum of the requirements needed.
My
passion since early age has been computer games and the gorgeous graphics and
innovative ideas some of them presented. As I grew older I realized that
computer games showed a whole lot more than just playing for fun. In my opinion
they represent the problem solving and innovation skills necessary to move any
field of science forward. I wish to improve my skills as a programmer and get a
good start into the world of software development. I am looking for opportunities to learn
graphics programming, OpenGL and Direct3D in particular. Beside computer
graphics I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence.
I
believe I will be a valuable asset to whichever company employs me in the
future. Companies seem to need individuals with strong motivation and
willingness to work without expecting rewards, people who think clearly, with
perspective and do not rest until they are at the limits of technology and
innovation. I am not such a person yet, simply because I lack practice. I hope
to become an example of this vision with your aid.
