I would like to give you an overview how well both my education and experience are appropriate for the position.

As you will see from my enclosed Curriculum Vitae, I have successfully completed my professional technical education as an information scientist at *** in Munich prior to my current position. During the practically oriented education I worked in the *** as a support engineer. I performed problem resolution and troubleshooting services to big enterprise customers and *** partners for Microsoft Exchange Server related problems.

Furthermore I provided system set up and network environments for lab services in the *** Services department. I was responsible the preparation of systems and providing technical solutions according customer requirements as well as for the monitoring and administration of the *** datacenter. I offered solid experience with a range of different server technologies, operating systems and have expertise with a variety of software applications and hardware configurations.

In my current position I am working at *** as a Business Operation Engineer for the *** Services. I am responsible for the preparation of Virtual Server / PC images, from the concept, about the realization up to improvement according to the growing user's base. Based on the mostly been asked Virtual Machines by the *** Support Center and others,  I publish retail and beta  versions of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications as well as in different languages on our Intranet for direct usage. Another task is the maintenance and development of the *** intranet site. Beside aspects like availability, layout and content I take the customer interests and customer's requirements into consideration also for the migration of the Intranet site to SharePoint Portal which is full in progress. Furthermore I communicate important changes, escalations or news concerned our customers above the available communication ways.

My technical knowledge gives me the advantage to understand the constantly changing requirements of the internal and external customers regularly review and to take effectively into consideration in my everyday work. Realizing that this letter, as well as my Curriculum Vitae, cannot adequately communicate my qualifications and skills in-depth, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally and discuss the possibility to be a part of your team at ***.

Overall, very nicely done-- much of my work below is cosmetic.  I don't understand your work precisely, though, so if I have made any egregious error of interpretation, be sure to change it back.
