A week ago, I was green and hard;
A week later, I'll be dark and soft;
I wear a green or a yellow or a red coat,
You have to undress me to put in a boat.

Who am I?

"A week ago, I was green and hard;"  how about ( Kermit the frog with a pair of knuckle dusters )  Smile [:)]

A week later, I'll be dark and soft;   ( Kermit covered in plain molten chocolate)

I wear a green or a yellow or a red coat, ( Kermit naked, or sporting his new yellow or red jacket)

You have to undress me to put in a boat. ( Kermit again , Miss Piggy would love to undress him on a slow boat to China!)

 Or perhaps a "Watermelon" would fit the puzzle.  Big Smile [:D]

Nona you are a super guru! Big Smile [:D]

Fluidnmotion, are you a scientist? Geeked [8-|]

Eargasms, except for a red coat and getting dark in a week, a watermelon would fit.

Nona,  "Tree" doesnt fit the description that well. Give it another try.

Benita, Hmmm, I know you are thinking that I should be a slickly-combed, collar-buttoned, extra-thick glasses-wearing, science-loving type. You should ask my teacher. She wouldnt dare to let me perform any experiments in her laboratory. Bunsen burner was my friend.

Well, you did describe what you are not............but forgot to describe yourself! Thinking [8-)]

Coming back to the riddle, any more clues, my friend?

FluidnMotion  +  277002 Fri, 06 Oct 06 05:07 PM

A part of the clue is a part of the name of  "The Love Bug".

I know, I am being a teaser. All is fair in love and war. Ain't it?
