Hi,

If I am trying to write to about a country that includes people's lifestyle, their eating habits, the current fads, types of music they like, and possibly (but not likely) their prejudices, etc., how should I phrase it.

I would like to write about the culture.

I would like to write about culture.

With the information and the very short choices you have given , I would go with the first one. However, you might also go with something like 'various aspects of the culture'.
