Her mornings, are not only marked by the sweet aroma of fresh made coffee but also, the torturing memories of a broken bond. A broken bond, that seemed to not only break her from Sean but most importantly it broke her. She is not the same girl she used to be before she ever got tangled up with him. She was bright, young, motivated...she was a dreamer. She had promises, which she always kept..friends, whom she never abandoned..and boyfriends, who would never make it past a week. What happened to her?
It was 8 o clock, Monday night. She just got home from the community college, finally. All day, for the past 10 hours, Sean was near, if not physically than atleast in her heart. This was the first time they had ever been apart, for such a long period. Sean now attending a four year university, was in another world. A world filled with drugs, and alochol. That was his life now. A night of beer bongs, blunts, and strange girls. But he was still her one and only, even after all the hollars and calls from random guys..it was always him. There was no one else for her, she was sure of that. This was the test, the ultimate test. She would call him every night, and every night he would find creative ways to lie to her. Throw out words that she wanted to hear, confess his undying love for her, and tell her that tonight, like all other nights he will lay awake in bed waiting to dream for her. If only she could see, how her love for him had blinded her. If only she knew, that the strange girl he drank with last night was sitting on his bed next to him while he was feeding her lies. If only she knew, that the days she spent thinking about his touch, he spent trying to impress another. If only he would have told her the truth before she dropped her life to be closer to him. This love, if you want to call it that, had cheated her and she never knew a thing about it. All she knew was that she was finally with the guy she wanted to be with. It wasn't his looks, it was never about the money because he didn't have either. He was not the 6 ft, blue eyed polo guy she was used to. He wasn't the guy that threw around money, or bragged about his ride that his parents bought him. To her, he was the only sincere man she had meet. She felt that she could trust him, and that was enough for her. Thats all she ever wanted, an honest relationship with an imperfect guy.
