Hi, everybody!

I've a question concerning the beginning of a letter. If I only know the name of the person, but don't know her or him very good, how should I start?

with
Dear Jennifer Houston,

or
Dear Ms. (Mrs.?) Houston,

or
Dear Ms. (Mrs.?) Jennifer Houston,

or
Dear Jennifer
(although I don't know her very good!)

???

Thanks for all help,
Gerald

According to my experience, 'Dear Ms. Houston!' is the best variant, especially if you don't know her well and don't know whether she is married.
