Hello,

I'm still double-triple checking my CV... OMg, I have to stop one day Smile [:)]

Anyway, which one of the following sentences is the correct one?

1- using professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills demonstrating high communication ability.

2- using professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills demonstrating a high communication ability.

Thanks in advance

It seems to me this is an incomplete sentence.

Who is the subject? Where is the verb?

Hi,

1- using professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills demonstrating high communication ability.

Such point form use of incomplete sentences is OK, in fact recommended, in a resume or CV. However, I'd reword it to put what I consider the most important part first, followed by the supporting details. eg

strong communication ability, demonstrated by professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills.

Best wishes, Clive

Here is the entire sentence:

Delivered first-class "business-to-business" service by dealing effectively and confidently with conflicting situations on a daily basis, using professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills demonstrating high communication ability.

Clive, should I reformulate the previous sentence as followed using your advice?

Delivered first-class "business-to-business" service by dealing effectively and confidently with conflicting situations on a daily basis, using strong communication ability, demonstrated by professional, polite and clear telephone manner and letter writing skills.

What do you reckon?

Cheers,
Ludo

Hi Ludo,

Myself, I like the second version better. But resumes are subjective, think about it and see what appeals to you more.

Good luck with it,

Hi Clive,

As I now know that both sentences are grammaticaly corrects, I will decide which one to use tomorrow after a good night sleep. Smile [:)]

Thanks for everything!
