Which ones should I use to describe typical routines?

I play basketball with my friends on weekends (on the weekend).
I play basketball with my friends on Saturdays (on the Saturday).

I play basketball with my friends on Saturdays (on the Saturday). OK as edited.

You could also say 'every weekend / every Saturday'.
