Please somebody respond for my request. I can't find way to improve my spoken English. I tried many ways but many people recomend me to speak with English men but I can't find English speaking friend. Please somebody help me.

Hi Kompang,

I have two general ideas for you. First, do not give up on finding an English speaker to talk to. You can now find a partner on the internet. Read my advice to students who want to do language exchange first.

Second, you can do speaking practice to help you use words and sentences more smoothly. You can read sentences out loud, listen to dictations and repeat what you hear, or even listen to longer texts such as jokes and repeat those too.

I will be adding "study tips" for my students every week during 2006, so look for them. I hope you can become a fluent speaker in 2006. Good luck!
