What do you do if you see some one you didn't see him from long time

For example, you knew this person when you were at 8 grades, and you didn't hear about him from long time, may be you forget him, but when you go shopping, you saw him.

What you will do in this situation.

As for me, it would depend on our past relationship. If it was a good one, I would say "hi" and something like "What´ve you been doing?". It has happened recently - I met a girl I used to go to school to and we were good friends. But I hadn't see her for ten years or more. So, we started talking and now we have "become" friends again.
But if our relationship was not very good or inexistent, I wouldn't bother saying anything, aside from the fact that, as Lana said, I may remember him/her but it's possible that this person doesn't remember me.
