Some ways in which lizards different from snake are in having ear openings, moveable eyelids, and less flexible jaw.

I know the word “different” is wrong. Could I correct it “are different”? The answer is “differ”.Tks.

Welcome to Englishforums, Ethisphie.

Both "are different" and "differ" are valid choices. Here, "different" acts as an adjective and "differ" is a verb.

in my opinion 'are different' and 'differ' both work in this sentence. as an editor, i'd choose 'differ' because it is much more concise than 'are different.' perhaps one of the teachers can give you a more thorough explanation of the difference between these terms. also, i think that the sentence still has a few more errors. i might rewrite it: 'some ways in which lizards differ from snakes are in having ear openings, moveable eyelids, and a less flexible jaw.
