I looked up the word 'condition', it means a particular mode of being of a person or thing; existing state; situation with respect to circumstances.      But I still don't understand what it means.

I also looked up the word 'situation', it means manner of being situated; location or position with reference to environment.     I don't understand what it means either.    I know what 'circumstance' means, but i don't know the differences among those three words and 'status'?

Hope you can help me, thanks

A 'condition' is, usually, a general state of being.  For example, if a road has many holes in it, we'll say that the road in poor condition. If I've been seriously ill but feel better, we can say that my condition is improving.

A condition exists within a wider context; in the above example, my situation is 'I feel good' while my circumstances are 'I was feeling bad before now."

Situation [I feel good] + Circumstance [I was sick] = My Condition [Improved]

Situation [The road has many holes] + Circumstance [Roads ought to be smooth] = Road's Condition [Poor]

Status is a measure of your social condition. For example, if I'm in a forum where the number of posts I have are important and I have 100 posts then a person with 200 posts has more status than I do.

(Situation [I have 100 posts] + Situation [Bob has 200 posts]) Circumstance [Posts are important] = Condition [Bob has more status than I do]

Does this help?
