The difference is the same as for the difference between table and a table. other and another.

Put the money on the table. Put the money on the other table.
Please fix the broken lamp. And fix the other broken lamp, too.

Some people are always happy. Other people always complain.

I need a new table. I need another new table.
I saw an interesting movie yesterday. I saw another interesting movie today.
