What is the difference between the synonymous verbs "to come" and "to arrive" in terms of usage?

Thanks.

Welcome to English Forums, Shaan.

The words are not synonyms.  'Come' means 'move in the direction of the speaker and/or listener'.  'Arrive' means 'finish coming (or going)'.
