What is the difference between the two sentences.

Yes, I figured you came by. Happy Studying!

Yes, I have figured you came by. Happy Studying!

the first sentense doesn't have the word 'have' infront of figured and the second senctence does.

The first sentence sounds much more natural to me. 
The second sentence would sound funny.
