I have never heard "different to" in my llife but "from" and "than" which is used in comparative context.

I happen to have come across "different to", although not as often as "different form".

Same here, as I honestly don't think I encountered different than in a "serious" book or article before looking it up in the dic.

One of my colleagues at work went to school in England.  She is the only one I've ever heard in California use "different to".  Around here it sticks out like a sore thumb.
