difficult to adapt

Are these sentences correct?

1. The boys are difficult to adapt to this condition.

2. The boys are difficult to adapt under this condition.

3. The situation is difficult to adapt. 

I understand that normally we say "The boys find it difficult to adapt to this condition/situation". I am just wondering whether we can say it in another way.

Is there any other way to say "They find it difficult to adapt to the situation."?

It is difficult for them to adapt to the situation.

It's impossible for him to go there.

It's easy for most people to learn to speak English.
