In direct speech, you can pretty much write what you wantSmile [:)]

It is in indirect speech, where  you need to be more careful ...

So,

In direct speech:

Can I write: I'll se you in 2 days' time (1)nstead of writing:I'll se you in 2 days.

(1) is correct?

Please note my corrections.

Can I write: I'll see you in 2 days' time (1) Instead of writing: I'll see you in 2 days.

Although both sentences are correct, I prefer I'll see you in 2 days  because the word 'item' is not required.
