Can I say,

(a) A car drove through the puddle and splashed the dirty water on Jenny's uniform. She was sad because she seemed / looked dirty and wet.

(b) Jenny's uniform was dirty and got wet. She was ashamed because she went to school with her wet / dirty uniform.

(c)Jenny was sad because her uniform became dirty and wet.

Mostly not wrong, but more natural versions would be:

(a) A car drove through the puddle and splashed water on to Jenny's uniform. She was sad because it had made her dirty and wet.

(b) Jenny's uniform had become dirty and wet. She was ashamed because she had to go to school with it on.

(c) Jenny was sad because her uniform had become dirty and wet.
