Disappointed with or Disappointed at

1) I am disappointed with my results.

2) I am disappointed at my results.

Which one is correct? I think 1) is more appropriate though..Please explain.

Either with or at is possible.  with is used a bit more often according to Google results.

Disappointed can also take "by" and "about".

This is one way to approach the problem:

We are disappointed with (or at) something that doesn't come up to our expectations:
I am disappointed with my new house.
Were you disappointed with the result?


We are disappointed in a person whose actions or achievements cause us disappointment:
I'm disappointed in my new secretary.
