I thought so to, but my quite mild, but less than gentle, comment to Incho was deleted and I got "yellow-carded". Is favouritism at work here?

Hume said that if we had perfect or complete descriptive knowledge of reality, we could not, by reasoning, derive a single valid "ought".

<Milky, I wouldn't say that 'stubborn' is an offensive thing to say to someone, no, or I wouldn't have said it. I'm a decidedly stubborn person myself over some things. >

So, it seems that what gets through the filter here is based on each moderators subjective/biased viewpoint. Is that so?

They created this forum and made it possible to compare notes of the English language, at the end of the day.

I greatly appreciate it.

This is a virtual society and they are the police without any of the word's negative connotations.

I do not see anything wrong with it, as long as they refrain from saying:' hey you too'. This  is most offensive to me.

And should the police also police themselves?

This is what is wrong with our world today. Everybody is afraid of offending anyone. We can’t use certain words because they may “hurt” the feelings of others. In my opinion, that’s bull crap. Just like when a child is misbehaving and sometimes a little spanking is needed to remind your kid there is consequences in bad behaviors. Likewise, a couple of harsh words are needed sometimes in forum such as this to let the renegades know “ hey, you are over the line”. That’s just one man’s opinion.
