“May I ask one more question?

Why would a person play music in a resort? Does the resort refer to a hotel or a lodge? Is it true that some hotels are named like " XXX resort"?

A hotel is just the big building itself where people stay.  A hotel can be located in a busy city.  A hotel is frequently used by people conducting business within that city.

A resort, on the other hand, while it may have a central hotel, or other accommodations such as cabins, is located in a peaceful setting where people on vacation can participate in leisurely activities and perhaps be entertained (by musicians, for example).  It is not a place where business is normally conducted.

I've included some pictures taken at resorts.  As you can see, they range from luxurious to rustic.

Hi.

Resort is a place that is a popular destination for vacations or recreation, or which is frequented for a particular purpose.

Cover song=cover(informal) means  "a recording of a song by a singer, instrumentalist, or group other than the original performer or composer.
