Hi guys,
Unless you make a habit of helping/amusing these people, I'd expect 'You made my day' or 'You've made my day' rather than 'You make my day'.
Best wishes, Clive
I ever heard two people chatting on TV like this:
One said: "You made me a day!"
The other said: "You made me a year!"
Hi,
I even heard two people chatting on TV like this:
I think what you heard was "You made my day!" and "You made my year!"
