I have just realised what  meant to say was:

 The concept is of no real value...

You can say something is of no real value. Whether it applies to this particular concept, I don't know.

Sure, something like this:

He says that I look beautiful in that dress, but his opinion is of no real value, because he's blind in his left eye and can't see out of the other. :)
