Hello,
Does the following sentence make sense?

"These days, the areas surrounding the airport have seen a surge in the construction
of cargo facilities owned by forwarders and of rental facilities by specialist real estate
developers."

I meant to say that cargo facilities and rental facilities have been constructing.

Thank you in advance,

Yes, it makes sense but it can be better if:

"These days, the area around the airport has seen a surge in the construction of cargo and rental facilities which are owned by forwarders and specialist real estate developers, respectively."
