I have been catching myself. Well, I should say my girlfriend has been catching me saying things like "I don't no anymore" "I don't do that no more".

I am trying figure out where I picked this up and why it has been so long since I had this brought to my attention.

How do I correct this in my speech and other things I a might say that are not "proper english"
