	khoff  +  390626 Wed, 11 Jul 07 03:34 AM I really don't know what the meaning is in the original context, but I don't think it has anything to do with the basketball references.  In basketball, to "double" means to have two of your players guarding a single player from the other team, and "down low" means (I think) close to the basket.   At least in the basketball context, it definitely does not mean "bend over low."  I suppose it could mean that in the original context, or it could just be a slang phrase for "very secret," or it could be a completely meaningless phrase included to mystify readers. khoff Joined on Sun, Mar 6 2005 Senior Member 3,272 Native speaker of American English (but not a grammar expert)
