Do you mean double slash and single slash? Used in website addresses?
Double is// single is / (although you wouldn't bother saying the single part, you just say 'slash'.

In addition (I once learned to my chagrin):
"This is a slash: /. Because the top of it leans forward, it is sometimes called a 'forward slash'.
This is a backslash: \. Notice the way it leans back, distinguishing it from the regular slash.
Slashes are often used to indicate directories and subdirectories in computer systems such as Unix and in World Wide Web addresses. Unfortunately, many people, assuming 'backslash' is some sort of technical term for the regular slash, use the term incorrectly, which risks confusing those who know enough to distinguish between the two but not enough to realize that Web addresses never contain backslashes. Newer browsers will silently correct this error, but older ones may not. "

Mr M I am one of those twerps who has to think hard about which is a backslash and which is a forward slash, as the correct way round is totally counter-intuitive for me...
I think it is because if I physically write one, I start at the top of the slash and draw a line downwards.. therefore the forward slash actually moves my hand backwards on the page, and the backslash actually moves my hand forwards on the page.
I always have to stop and think about it.

Me too, Nona, and for precisely the same reason. So I just try to remember that the 'unmarked' form is the 'normal' one for URLs.
By the way, Internet Explorer-- at least the one in my machine-- is one of those browsers that won't read a backslash as a slash. I built my websites via Mozilla Firebird, which does read both of them-- so I ended up with sites that half my respondents complained about, and it took me forever to discover the culprit-- I was specifying subfiles with backslashes instead of forward slashes... or vice versa... hmm...

Nona, Mr. Micawber,
I never have this problem. To me it's obvious what a slash and a backslash are!
