Hello,

A sentence can be in active or passive.

What are the other states of a sentence apart from Active or passive?

For e.g

He is a teacher.

Hi,

I'm not good at naming things in grammar, but I see He is a teacher as a special case which simply equates the two items, via a copular verb.

Other people may give you more insightful comments.
